Helping Hands Walk-a-Thon
NeighbourLink Sarnia Lambton would like to invite you to join us in helping our neighbours in need
within the Sarnia Lambton community by participating in our Helping Hands Walk-a-thon
It is a family-friendly 2, 5 or 10km walk to raise funds for
Neighbourlink to help fulfill the requested needs in our community
Together we can make a difference in someone’s life.
On the 3rd Saturday in October
donning iconic ball caps, participants will walk their chosen route.
The Sarnia WALK begins and ends at
The Sarnia Christian School, at 1273 Exmouth St, (corner of Pontiac Drive and Exmouth St)

Upon arrival, participants are asked to check-in at the registration table and turn in their fundraising results.
Opening ceremonies will commence at 3pm. Walkers will then be dismissed to enjoy their chosen walk distance. Along the route walkers can warm up or cool down with a refreshing drink and a quick snack that will be provided at the rest stop location. To ensure participants experience a safe and fun event, there will be route marshalls stationed along the way and a couple of route vehicles circling the area ready to assist walkers if needed.
Participants are encouraged to join in the celebratory BBQ back at the school upon completion of their chosen distance.

NeighbourLink Sarnia-Lambton has been caring for individuals and families in our community for 30 years by offering support both physical and financial, as well as education and advocacy. Some of the practical services we offer are a food pantry, rides to necessary appointments, bedding and beds and new cribs. We also grant financial assistance for dental and medical emergencies, rental eviction notices and utility cut-off notices. NeighbourLink provides all services free of charge to those in need who qualify for these services.
